If you saw last week’s post, you know that this month we’re celebrating National Nutrition Month! In addition to nutritious energy bars, we’re recommending five of our favorite nutritious beverages. Sometimes it’s easy to forget how important it is to drink beverages that are good for you — especially when you’re working out. We’re including a variety of drinks so no matter your preference, you’ll be able to find a company below that sells a drink you like!

1. RightWater | Water

As you may know, an adult human body is composed of up to 60% water, so keeping yourself hydrated is a must (as cited by the United States Geological Survey). The problem that many run into is staying hydrated, while using disposable plastic water bottles is incredibly convenient, it’s also terrible for the planet. Luckily, RightWater provides a non-plastic version! This company offers natural spring water in 100% recyclable cans — this supports our mission of leaving no carbon footprint! Even better, RightWater funds clean water projects (and shipping is free!). Any and all questions you may have about this company can probably be answered here

2. Goldthread | Tonics

Goldthread is a plant-based tonic company. This company’s formulations are handcrafted and microbrewed, resulting in a super satisfying and refreshing drink. Each tonic is noted for targeting a specific problem you may have. For example, are you lacking energy today? Berry Power increases energy and resilience, while Japanese Matcha invites a clarifying and focusing energy into your life.

3. Evolution Fresh | Cold-Pressed Juice

Built on the foundation of no added colors or flavors, Evolution Fresh produces juice that’s high in nutrients and taste. The juiceries are located close to the fresh fruit and vegetable farms to ensure the freshest ingredients. Not to mention, its juices are Non-GMO Project verified (meaning that your juice doesn’t include any produce that’s been genetically modified). When you’re feeling in a rut, Evolution Fresh’s juices are just the pick-me-up to start your day feeling refreshed. (Sara — our CMO & Founder — has a personal favorite flavor, might watermelon!)

I had the wonderful opportunity to model for Evolution Fresh. Everyone I had the pleasure to meet on the shoot was amazingly kind-hearted and passionate about the product. I’m glad I have the chance to share this great juice brand with all of you!

4. Olyxir | Tea

Olyxir offers tea in strip form, making tea a more sustainable option. You may be wondering how tea strips are more sustainable than other forms of tea? This is because tea strips break down in hot water — no more throwing out tea bags! One package of tea strips is equal to 10 antioxidant beverages. Also, Olyxir is comparative to matcha, but Olyxir has all of the energy without any of the caffeine (and the associated highs and lows). Not to mention they’re also super instagrammable!

5. Lavazza | Coffee

Lavazza is a sustainably-sourced Italian coffee company. This company offers a plethora of coffee in different forms including ground coffee, whole bean coffee, capsules for Nespresso machines, BLUE capsules and Keurig K-Cup pods. Lavazza even has a short 5 question questionnaire that helps you find the blend that’s perfect for you. Partnered with Save the Children and a commitment to local areas, Lavazza is invested in not just selling great coffee but also helping others around the world.

Don’t sleep on these companies! Visit them to find some amazing options for great-tasting and healthy drinks.
