Earth Day Photo Contest Fundraiser for Clean Water #TheGoodEarthDay

The Photo Contest
Earth Day is all about promoting sustainability and the preservation of our planet, and this year The Good Camp will be holding a photo contest to fundraise for charity: water -- a nonprofit that builds water projects for communities in rural areas across the world. We encourage everyone to post photos celebrating our beautiful planet, and then to vote for their favorite photos by donating to our campaign. Our goal is to change the lives of 10 people -- and charity: water provides one person with clean water for every $40 donation. To reach this goal of $400 in donations, all you have to do is vote here for your favorite submissions with your wallet.

The Mission
Charity: water specializes in helping people that don’t have access to clean water by utilizing 100% of its donations to build water projects that provide water, sanitation and hygiene. Having access to clean water is fundamental to sustaining a healthy planet and the people who inhabit it, and charity: water has made this central to its mission. Photo Submissions
On March 1st, 2021, The Good Camp’s photo contest will begin accepting submissions
Photos can be posted on Instagram using the hashtag #TheGoodEarthDay while also tagging @thegoodcamp
Your concept of Earth Day is up to interpretation -- we would love to see your perspective of how photos can showcase the beauty of the planet
The Good Camp will accept entries up until March 31st, when the voting will take place through April 21st

Voting
The Good Camp’s campaign fundraising page for charity: water can be accessed here (This is the site where voting will take place!)
The voting period will begin on April 1st and lead up to April 21st. Votes can be placed on the donation page, where $1 = 1 vote which will go directly to charity: water’s efforts in providing clean water across the world
To vote for a photo, add the user’s Instagram @ name in the notes section of the donation when voting for your favorites
We encourage participants to promote their entries and ask friends and family to vote for their photos so that we can help to make a change in the world on Earth Day
The user with the most votes on the campaign page will be announced on April 22nd, and they will receive a gift basket of fun, sustainable products from conscious brands
Easy Steps
Simply put:
Submit your photos starting March 1st (and ending March 31st) by posting on Instagram with the hashtag #TheGoodEarthDay and tagging @thegoodcamp.
Vote from April 1st to April 21st, by donating $1 per vote and including the users Instagram @ in the notes section.
Ask everyone you know to vote!
Win a basket of sustainable products on Earth Day.
