3. LowTides Ocean Products | Beach Chairs

Did you know that around 8 million pieces of plastic go into our oceans every day? That number is incredibly staggering, and I’m sure it makes you want to take the steps you can to help rid our oceans of polymers. LowTides’ beach chairs help by being made out of recycled ocean plastic found on the beaches of Haiti and the Yucatan Peninsula that are then broken down and molded to become the chair you see below. These chairs are also by pre-order only, so check them out before it’s too late!

4. Land and Sand Essentials | Beach Umbrellas

Want to have some sustainable shade while enjoying your new beach chair? Land and Sand offers the world’s first array of stylish umbrellas that are made out of recycled plastic water bottles. In addition to its product list, Land and Sand gives back to our environment by donating a percentage of its proceeds to Greening Australia, an organization dedicated to restoring the continent’s ecosystem. If that’s not enough, the company has also teamed up with CarbonClick in order for customers to donate and offset any carbon emissions made in the production of their umbrellas at checkout. These offsets help fund forest restoration, tree planting and more!
